PHCC ELEPHANTS
The PHCC Elephants are the Dads cricket team for those aged 15-85.
We place a heavy emphasis on enjoyment and have had a vast range of cricketers play for us from Internationals to those on the verge of retirement. We are always looking for new enthusiastic and keen members.
The Elephants were borne out of the worst of emotions, pure and simple envy at all the fun the kids were having playing cricket!
The Elephants were founded in 2006 and since that date have played over 100 fixtures. We play around 18 fixtures a year with the highlight being a tour to Wiltshire in July.
The Elephants play their home games at Regents Park and the away fixtures throughout the South East. We play at some of the most beautiful and historic cricket grounds in England for example Mitcham CC which is reputed to be the oldest cricket club in London and at Gravesend CC where the game of cricket is said by some to have originated for example and also Sheffield Park where the Australians played their first competitive fixture in England in the nineteenth century and is one of the most beautiful grounds in the world.
There is a full range of kit available to those who would like to play.
